can i hook my pc hard drive up to my ps3 or dvd player by usb to watch movies?

I have a 1tb portable desktop hard drive with movies on it. my friend has a notebook hard drive she hooks it up to her ps3 and dvd player by usb and it works for her but mine is larger how can i do it? thanks

You should be able to simply unplug it form the PC and plug it into the PS3. If you have a wireless network or the PS3 connected to a wired network you could also set up Tversity or Fuppes media servers on the computer and stream the data to the PS3.

Note that the PS3 does not like all video files and you may have to convert them to DivX or MP4 format for your PS3 to play them.

DVD players are now being widely given away with LCD TVs as printers are given away with laptops and computers. The DVD player market has evolved over a period. They were hot selling at a point of time but now they have been replaced by other technologies like Divx players and Avi players. The DVD players now only play DVD format files which is a big letdown, as many other formats of files are been preferred.

The DVD quality is truly commendable but the divx file format takes up less disk space and provides quality at par with DVD. While one can store three DVD format movies in a DVD disk, six movies can be stored in the divx format. This almost doubles the number of movies one can carry and also relishing on the same quality.

DVD players sold in India do not support this other file format viewing. So you are either restricted to buy original DVDs or VCDs for viewing. If you have home videos and they are in a different file format it is not possible to play them on a DVD player easily.

The DVD players are large in size and occupy a considerable space. The portable divx players on the other hand are more feasible and also come with a LCD screen display. The DVD players are a good investment for someone who likes to watch movies on original DVDs. Thus the player won’t cause any damage to your DVD collection and will provide the best output.

They help you connect your flash-based pen drives directly onto the DVD player and listen to your favourite music instantly. Can you help me choose a good portable DVD player?

I am looking to buy a portable DVD player for a long car ride. I am looking at the portable players that have two screens. I saw one at Sam's Club. You can use it so two people can watch the same movie on two screens, or each TV can be used separately.
I might just end up getting two separate units, one for each child. I have owned an Audiovox portable DVD player in the past, and it broke a few months later. Are there any other good brands out there? Do anyone of you have experience with the two screen type? Thank you!

reinstall it. I had a problem where my VLC player wouldn't open. So i just installed the same version over it and it work fine.

One of the biggest mistakes made is probably not taking the time to choose your disguise carefully. You can't just choose a class to imitate without thinking about it first. Even though you have the ability to disguise as anyone, some classes can be more beneficial than others. The two classes that you should try to avoid disguising as (at first) are the Medic and the enemy spy.

If you disguise yourself as a Medic you will draw a lot of attention to yourself if you're not healing the players that need you. An experienced player will automatically suspect you to be a spy. Another reason to avoid this class is because an Ubercharge meter will not be displayed and this will make it obvious to the experienced player that you're a spy.

Disguising yourself as a spy is not a good choice because they just seem to arouse suspicion from everyone, even their own teammates. Someone may shoot you simply because they're paranoid. 

Later, when you've gotten more experience with the spy and you feel confident in your abilities, you might want to try disguising as a medic or enemy spy. Because people will not expect you to do so, it can be great if you can pull it off successfully. 

It's also vital that you avoid being in the same area where the class you're disguised at is located. This will happen from time to time but it is a dead giveaway when they see their name above your character.

The spy class is not designed to be in direct combat with the enemy. Your job is to be sneaky and deceiving, not to get into a hand to hand battle with a heavy. You can be killed quickly if discovered so work on doing your job well and know when to retreat. Don't try to be a hero but be there for your team and make it easier for them to accomplish your goals. 

It's not easy to be a master spy. There are many obstacles that you will encounter and you will die many times before you perfect the class. This is to be expected and you need to learn from your mistakes instead of getting agitated. Patience is vital if you want to become a great spy for your team.

Finally, one last time for playing spy is to practice, practice, practice. The more you do it, the more comfortable you will become at it. Once you become a good spy, it's even easier to become a great spy, especially if you play often on the same servers.

This is because you will start to build a reputation for being a good spy and there is already something intimidating about the spy class. Maybe it's the whole sneaking-up-behind-you-stabbing-you-in-the-back thing but people tend to be afraid of spies. You can use this to your advantage once you show people you are a good spy.
