 Five new entries in this weeks UK top ten album chart. James Blunt makes a new entry at number one with his second album All The Lost Souls - a winning mix of 70's pop and acoustic rock. He knocks Kanye West's vintage synthesized sounds Graduation from the king of hip hop off the top spot. And Amy's back again at number three with her Back To Black album.
Curtis - the third album from hip hop heavyweight 50 Cent is down two places to four as the debut album by Arctic Monkey associate Jon McClure comes in at five as Reverend & The Makers' with The State Of Things. The second album from Scottish folk-pop singer-songwriter KT Tunstall - Drastic Fantastic drops from three to six with the power pop rock, crunchy guitars and bouncy songs of Plain White T's Every Second Counts hanging in at seven.
Then its three new entries to make up the chart. A hits compilation from one of the great operatic tenors Luciano Pavarotti at number eight with The Ultimate Collection, Mark Knopfler in at nine with homespun songs on his fifth solo album Kill To Get Crimson and that old smoothie Phil Collins at ten with Hits.
Another three new entires make it into the top twenty this week. Booty Luv enter at number 11 with Boogie 2nite with Scouting For Girls and their eponymous album at 12. Old timers Status Quo come in at 15 with In Search Of The Fourth Chord.
