Can I use SVGA cable to replace the old VGA cable?

I want to connect my PC to LCD TV through D-sub port. I found a SVGA cable online, will it be ok? (Before I usually connect my PC to TV through normal VGA cable)
Will the SVGA cable provides any better quality over general VGA (in my case)?

There most certainly are SVGA cables. We still commonly call them VGA cables, though. Since VGA cables aren't really available anymore (they're all SVGA or XVGA), anything you find will be okay. I doubt you will see a difference. Be aware that most LCD televisions have rather severe limitations as to what type of VGA signal they will accept (there are dozens). In other words, read the manual and set the computer's video settings accordingly. Also be aware that LCD televisions usually do not make very good computer monitors.
