If you’ve got a DVD system in your ride and are thinking about upgrading your personal DVD collection up to Blu-ray now there is a car system available so that you can continue playing your favorite movies in your car! Panasonic has a new Blu-ray compatible entertainment system for the car. The system (CN-HX900D) consists of a Windows-powered dash mountable component with a 7-inch display. There is also a system (CN-HX900D) with a CD/DVD player with Bluetooth, 40GB harddrive that is iPod/iPhone compatible. But to get the full movie treatment you’ll need the Blu-ray player (CY-BB1000D) so that you’re passengers can get the full movie experience from the back seats. When Mike West of Eclipse Car Audio was deciding on what vehicle they would use to showcase their newest multi-media products at the 2008 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, they once again turned to Rick Bottom Designs (Mendota, Illinois). Eclipse created and introduced the concept of an integrated navigation and mobile entertainment product at CES in 2004, and they have continued to innovate this category, which is why they wanted a vehicle as innovative in their booth. Each new subwoofer was reinforced with an application of basalt rock speaker technology in the cone production process to deliver the essential low bass frequencies to make music come alive for an enhanced in-car sound experience. The subwoofers adopt a new sophisticated cone design that not only looks sleek, but also reinforces the structure to handle increased power.
